Vintage Pair of French Faience Garden Snail Decorative Plates. Hand Painted France Folk Art

Wonderful pair of hand painted snail themed plates, made in France!
One plate "Jhe vha faire un p'tit Songe" translates to "I'm going to have a little nap".
The other plate: "chap'tit va loin" translates to "He who goes slow goes far".
Both earthenware plates are in very good vintage condition. No chips.
Approx 8.25"diameter Marked on the underside
