Vintage Villeroy & Boch "Amapola" Round Covered Vegetable, Soup Tureen, Poppy Serving Bowl, 1980's Grandmillenial China, Germany

Wonderful serving bowl with lid by Villeroy & Boch!
This footed bowl could be used as a soup tureen or serving bowl it feature large blue and orange poppies and holds approx. 1.5 quarts.
Made in Germany...this is the "Amapola" pattern.
Amapola is Spanish for the poppy flower and the flower is considered a symbol of wealth and contentment.
Circa 1980's. This pattern was produced from 1978-2001
In excellent vintage condition.
Approx: 8.5"H (top of finial)/4.75 H (top of body)/10.5"L (including handles)/Base:5.5"diameter
